Setting up Hubspot Integration with Puzzle Software

Welcome to a new era of documentation — where flowcharting meets system monitoring! 

We're excited to unveil Puzzle's HubSpot sync integration, a powerful feature that automatically generates beautiful and easy-to-understand synced flowcharts pulling data directly from your Hubspot instance in less than 1 minute. 

This integration enables you to seamlessly integrate your HubSpot contact workflows, and forms into Puzzle workflow canvas, providing you with valuable insights and control without ever leaving the Puzzle platform.

📝 Today our Hubspot integration v1.0 will only sync Contact Workflows, and All Hubspot Forms within your Hubspot instance. We'll be adding Company, Deal, and Ticket workflows as soon as Hubspot's new Workflows API is available mid-2024.

Step-by-Step Puzzle <> HubSpot Integration Guide

In order to setup this integration, the user needs to have Hubspot app marketplace permission. Otherwise you will receive an error when connecting your account. If you have Hubspot app marketplace permissions, continue to the instructions below:

  1. Connect your Hubspot Account
    1. ⚒️  In your Company workspace, go to the Tools section.
    2. 🔎 Search for HubSpot in the left sidebar. Click ➕ to add Hubspot as a tool to your canvas. Click on Hubspot — a right sidebar shows the tool's details.
    3. 🔄  Select the purple Sync icon on the sidebar > Add your HubSpot Account and authenticate by following the prompts provided.
  2. Sync HubSpot Workflows
    1. ✅ After successful integration, navigate to the Workflows tab within your company workspace.
    2. 🖱️ Click the "Toggle Integration Sidebar" to display the integration sidebar.
    3. 🖱️  Click on the 🔄 icon to initiate the synchronization process.
    4. 📋  A real-time list of your Hubspot contact workflows will appear, ready for integration with Puzzle.
  3. Add Workflows and Forms to Your Map
    1. 👀  Review the list of HubSpot workflows and select the ones you wish to integrate with your map.
    2. ➕  Add workflows to your map by clicking + next to the workflow.
  4. Connect Existing Steps to Hubspot Item
    1. 🔂  If you already have steps in your Puzzle map that correspond to Hubspot workflows, simply click into those steps.
    2. 🔄  Click the "Sync" icon, find the related workflow in the list, and click + to associate that step with the workflow seamlessly.
