Out of the box, monday.com works great for team collaboration and project management. But the real magic begins when you integrate it with the rest of your powerful tools.
Here are the monday.com integrations that lead to the biggest time savings and efficiency gains based on my experience working with several businesses to optimize their processes:
Let’s take a closer look at why we recommend them!
Quick tip! To integrate any apps with Monday.com, follow these steps:
Best use case: Improving project communications
If you’re like most businesses, the majority of your conversation happens in Slack - and it’s also likely to be the first app team members open to start their day. The monday.com Slack integration helps bring your project notifications front and center.
Team members receive notifications for new requests or project updates in the relevant Slack channels. And you can be sure that team members who aren’t on monday.com or who don’t routinely check their monday.com board won’t miss any critical updates.
Here’s one example from our Slack workspace. Our virtual assistant gets a non-intrusive notification anytime there’s a new task assigned on Monday.com with a link straight to the task.
Here are some additional ideas of what you can do with the monday.com Slack integration on both ends:
And if you use Microsoft Teams instead, there’s a Monday.com integration with Teams.

If HubSpot is your CRM, you can sync your contacts, companies, and deals into a monday.com board with a monday.com HubSpot integration.
Any changes you make within HubSpot will be reflected on monday.com. If you drag a deal from ‘discovery call booked’ to ‘proposal sent,’ for example, it automatically syncs to Monday.com. You can use those changes to kick off a ton of automation — like notifying the customer success team to reach out to a closed contact, for example.
This integration allows customer success teams to see what's coming next without going into Hubspot. They can see how many deals are in the pipeline within monday.com and manage capacity, so the right person is assigned to each account once they close.
There is a Monday.com integration with Salesforce that works similarly to this setup — if Salesforce is your CRM.
Best use case: Seamlessly creating sales contracts
If you’re like most early-stage companies, you house contract templates in Google Docs, then manually enter new client information, download, and send via email for every new deal. There’s a better way to generate contracts fast.
With the monday.com PandaDoc integration, you can automatically pull deal information into your contracts like contact name, email, phone numbers, and payment terms from dynamic fields in your monday.com boards. This automation allows you to send client contracts in a few clicks. Your sales team will no longer spend hours every week retyping the same information in different tools.
Best use case: Automated emails
Monday.com doesn’t have an email marketing function, but that doesn’t mean you can’t automate email marketing from your account.
Integrate monday.com with MailChimp to send personalized email marketing campaigns to contacts depending on where they are in the buyer’s journey. Whenever you add new contacts to your monday.com contact board — or update a contact status — MailChimp can automatically update your contact list to reflect the changes.
When someone moves from lead to client, for example, you may have an upsell email campaign that you want to send the contacts. With the monday.com MailChimp integration, you no longer have to manually export and import data into MailChimp to trigger campaigns.
Create a two-way sync with Jira to keep information flowing from team to team — even if each team operates within different tools.
With the monday.com Jira integration, your customer success team can easily flag issues for your developers. Likewise, developers can communicate changes to customer support seamlessly.

This aids cross-functional collaboration and ensures that each team doesn’t have to leave its system of record.
Best use case: Automated CRM email activity tracking
Gmail (or Outlook) is where most of your external communications happen. The monday.com Gmail integration makes it possible to track and sync those communications with leads and clients to monday.com.
When you send emails from your Gmail account, your contact’s name, title, phone number, and all the information in their email signature syncs to their record in your monday.com board.
It also updates the monday.com records with the last activity date so you can set up automations that remind you to touch base in 30 days or so. That way, you’re not letting any contacts or leads slip through the cracks.
There’s a monday.com Outlook integration too.
Best use case: Stellar customer support
The monday.com Zendesk integration is very similar to the Jira one. It syncs customer support tickets in Zendesk with account-level project tracking or client onboarding on monday.com.
So, if your customer support runs on Zendesk, you can sync monday.com and Zendesk to automatically turn support tickets into tasks for your engineering team.
That also means your Customer Success team can see all the tickets a particular customer has submitted. With that visibility, customer success services each account with full knowledge of the tickets they’ve opened. You can check in monthly or get on a call to sell renewals.
Best use case: Auto-deliver updates via SMS
Text messages are the fastest way to get someone’s attention. You can integrate monday.com with Twilio and automatically send text messages when your monday.com items reach a pre-specified status.
Let’s say you run an auto mechanic workshop and track car drop-offs on monday.com. When someone drops off their car at the lot for a tire or oil change, you can pre-program monday.com to trigger a text message that says, “we’ve successfully received your car” using Twilio.
And as the car moves through each stage of service, the customer will get a text message update. That’s the kind of care customers appreciate!
If your tools don’t communicate with each other in a way that surfaces the information team members need when and where they need it, then you're working for your tools more than your tools are working for you.
The first step to improving how your tools work is to audit your processes and find opportunities for automation and integrations - a good indicator is when two sequential steps use different tools. That way, you can automate data entry and simple notifications (to save hours and thousands of dollars over the course of a year).
